Senior Thesis in Ancient Greek Philosophy
Under normal circumstances, majors who plan to write their Senior Thesis with Mooney will be expected to have completed PL210 (Ancient Greek Philosophy) with a grade of B, or better; it is also expected that the student be concurrently enrolled in the Greek sequence, or to already have completed at least 6 credits of Greek.
Research topics sufficiently outside of ancient Greek philosophy will be considered, but are only very rarely accepted.
The Senior Thesis comprises 6-credits of work distributed between the Fall and Spring terms of the major's senior year. Most reading and research occur in the Fall Term, with most of the writing being completed in the Spring Term.
