Greek and Latin at JCU

JCU's superb Classics Program features first-rate instruction in Greek and Latin (as well as Greek and Roman history and culture), and should be pursued as a second major by any serious student of philosophy.  It is particularly recommended that students who are especially interested in ancient Greek philosophy begin the relevant course sequence as soon as possible.

Under normal circumstances, majors who plan to write their Senior Thesis with Mooney will be expected to be concurrently enrolled in the Greek sequence, or to already have completed at least 9 credits of Greek.
